Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast (GC) Review

Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi outcast let's you play the role of Kyle Katarn who then becomes a jedi, again. This game features deep battles with lightsabers, plus you can also use different guns like rockets and you also have force powers like lightning, push, pull, speed, and many more. The problem of this game is that you have many loading times, and if you lose, you have start all over again unless you save the game of course. But the worst is that you have to wait for another loading screen so you can start from where you died. Yet, these are some minor errors really.

The thing that impress me the most was the jedi arena because they can be 10 computer players at the same time, and you can play it alone or with a friend. In jedi arena you have lots of different modes like free for all, capture the flag, duel, etc. Plus the arenas are big enough to bring some fun exploration in some of the best star wars scenarios. You can play with any character that appears in the game, even Luke skywalker and Lando, but you have to unlock them first though.

Jedi Knight II have some great detailed places, yet the character designs need more work, but the special effects including the lightsaber are good. The music is very memorable from star wars movies and other past star wars games. The voiceovers are okay, so nothing really to complain.

Overall if your looking for a great Star Wars in which verything is on foot and featurs lightsabers, then you can easily pick up this one.

Score: 8.5/10
